Welcome to the new school year. I am excited to be a part of Evergreen Park School District 124’s Project TREE Program. In the year ahead, I look forward to getting to know the wonderful families that make up District 124.
I come to District 124 with a wealth of education and teaching experience. I hold two advanced degrees in education including a Masters in Educational Administration from Northern Illinois University and a Masters in Teaching and Leadership from St. Xavier University. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Augustana College. I have had the pleasure of teaching 5th grade in Prospect Heights, IL for 14 years. Prior to that, I taught middle school technology for two years in Berwyn, IL. After starting my own family, I decided I would like to have a greater impact on my own community and teach closer to my home in Oak Lawn where I live with my husband, Steve, and my two children, Leah (3) and Will (1).
