Mrs. Bennett joins the Southwest Team as a Paraprofessional working with the 5th Grade Team. Welcome to Southwest Mrs. Bennett.  

What’s the weirdest/most interesting job you’ve ever had?
I'd say the most interesting job I've had was working at Walt Disney World. I started when I went down for an internship after high school. After that, I decided to stay an employee and was able to go back and forth from school at ISU and to work one weekend a month and school breaks down at Disney World. After college, I moved to Orlando and worked full time. I worked in the water parks and had many different jobs throughout my years there.

Do you have any hobbies?
I have three hobbies that I love to do. I love to do yoga; it's my relaxing and bonding time with my daughters (they do it with me). I also love to swim. I was a competitive swimmer most of my life, and it has always been a large part of my life. I also enjoy crocheting. I love being able to make homemade gifts for my friends and family and challenge myself with coming up with new ideas and seeing if I can make it.

What is your favorite place to vacation?
My favorite place to vacation is in Wisconsin. My family has a lake house, and I love going up there and spending time with family doing all different types of activities on the lake.

What do you like on your pizza?
I have two different types of pizza that is my favorite. When I want deep dish stuffed pizza I love spinach; if I'm doing think crust, I love Hawaiian style with pineapple and ham.

What city would you like to visit most?
If I could visit any city, I would love to visit Dublin, Ireland. Every time I see it in pictures or movies, it looks like such a beautiful and fun place.  Plus, my daughter does Irish dancing, and I would love to take her to see the culture behind it.
