The Office for Economic Education at the University of St. Francis sponsored the 2018 Economics and Financial Literacy Concepts Poster Contest. Students from Southeast and Southwest were honored last night, May 9th, at a reception at the University of St. Francis.

Regional Winners

1st place-Abigail D.- 3rd Grade- Southeast

              Joie B.- 5th Grade- Southwest

2nd place- Luke O.- 5th Grade- Southeast

                 JD M.- 5th Grade- Southwest

3rd place- Rosebud S.- 5th Grade- Southwest

                Lucy M.- 4th Grade- Southwest

JD, Luke, and Abigail were also selected as 1st Place winners at the state level.  Each of them gave a speech about their poster entry. Their work will be featured on a month of the 2018-2019 Econ Illinois calendar.
