Reading Night was also on Wednesday. Over 40 families participated! Students and their families participated in book-related activities and had a chance to win a fabulous basket filled with reading goodies. Thanks to the Reading Night Committee for putting on such an awesome event.
All school assembly with special guest, SOUTHPAW!!! - The official mascot of the Chicago White Sox, Southpaw, came and shared the importance of reading along with some stories and a message about accepting differences. A special thank you to the Southwest Boosters for supporting this event.
