Families from all four Evergreen Park School District 124 elementary schools came together for a Family Paint on Feb. 21 at Northeast School.

 

The event was part of the District's Evergreen Reads program, which offers the entire community the opportunity to read the same book. This year's selection was "The One and Only Ivan," and families had the chance to paint different characters from the book.

 

District art teachers walked painters through the process of creating their characters, and families got to take their painting home at the end of the night.
