November 17, was District 124’s annual Parent Visitation Day. Parents were able to visit their child’s classroom from 9:00 to 11:00 and get a glimpse into a typical school day. They were also able to follow the students to specials. Southwest had a tremendous turnout with almost 200 parents (60 percent of families!) visiting between 9:00 and 11:00. Classrooms had a variety of activities planned for the visits. Check out some pictures of the event!
