Southwest School first-grader Lola has been selected as Artsonia’s Artist of the Week.

Lola’s “Ming Chinese Vase” artwork was selected as the winner of a national online voting contest last week. She collected 2,293 votes in the Pre-K through third-grade category, and collected more votes than the winners in each of the other three categories.

As the winner of the contest, Lola will receive $50 and Southwest School will be the recipient of $100. Lola’s winning piece, as well as 10 other selections of her work, will also be prominently displayed on the Artsonia website throughout the week.
