On Saturday, March 23rd Southwest Students and Staff headed over to the Brother Rice High School track to participate in the 10th annual Frosty Walk. The Frosty Walk is a yearly event that celebrates the life of Darlene Frost, mother of Southwest 4th Grade teacher Mrs. Stull. All the proceeds from the event are donated to the Mulliganeers. The Mulliganeers is a non-profit charity dedicated to raising funds for children and Families in need. All year Southwest students have been raising funds for the events. From eat and earn nights at local restaurants to selling candy canes, smencils, and bracelets as well as holiday dances and a donation from the Southwest Sprinters, students raised $2303.10 for the cause. Way to go Southwest!
