Kindergarteners at Southwest took a field trip to local favorite Barraco’s as part of their nonfiction reading unit. Students have been work on “how-to” books and what better way to put their learning into practice than to apply it to pizza making. Kindergarteners were treated to a behind-the-scenes look at how Barraco’s makes the go-to item on their menu. Students also got to try their hand at kneading the dough and of course capped the experience off with a tasty pizza lunch. Check out some pictures of the trip below.
