Southwest Students grades K-5 have spent at least a month learning how to code.    The Southwest Tech Crew took these coding skills one step further and created iMovies to demonstrate how to program the MBot.  Their videos helped other students learn how to program the mBot.  To view one of the demonstrations click on the word "Spotlight" above!

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Fundraiser (LLS)

For the next 3 weeks, Student Council and our Southwest Students will be participate in the LLS student series program to raise money for LLS. We are trying to help beat cancer by raising money. Our goal is to raise more than $500. Students can create their own fundraising page by clicking on the title above. Collect those coins and return them to school. Look for the blood drops with names of students who have returned their collection boxes. Donate a penny, nickel, dime, quarter, dollar, what ever you can afford. We sold 170 bracelets and had a Dance Until You Drop celebrations. So far, we have raised almost $400. Bring in your dollars next week for a Picnic Lunch. Thank you for your support.
