Students at Southwest made Kindness Rocks to spread kindness throughout the community. The Kindness Rock project goes along with the schoolwide reading of the book Wonder which has a theme of always choosing to be kind. Each student at Southwest decorated a rock and wrote an inspirational message on it. The purpose of the rock is to share kindness with others by leaving the rock for someone to find or even giving it to a special someone. The recipient of the rock can keep it or leave it in another location for someone else. Students brought home their Kindness Rock home with an explanation of the process.
